Yes dear, there's no harm in trying, and sometimes it's better to try whatever we can do before calling in for help. It's a way of learning. Just make sure to call an expert plumber if it worsens. Goodluck!

Experiences like this are learning blocks that will enrich our lives. But you shouldn't let this process take over the whole plumbing setback. If it's more than just the typical clog or drip, then call the plumbers right away. The time constraint can just make the situation worse, causing more damage.
