You are most certainly NOT failures as parents - you and Joe are two of the best parents I know, and Alex is a wonderful, sweet, smart child. I'm sorry you and he had to go through this, but it seems like it will have an unexpected benefit. Hopefully you will find someone great (and soft-haired ;-)) to help you, and you'll all be happier soon.


I think the home-life coordinator sounds like a great idea. Good luck finding someone great and with soft hair quickly. :)
