"Also, Phil Mickelson could use a Bro. Or a Manssiere."

Heh. Not as much as his Sunday playing partner, Kenneth Ferrie, could.

And I spent pretty much my entire weekend sitting around watching golf - it's much more exciting than people think. :-)

You know, I like watching golf, too. :) And I've been a Mickelson fan in the past, but it seemed to me that he made a lot of bad decisions early on in playing a little too showboat-y. That might not be such a bad thing anywhere else, but Winged Foot is an ego-crusher of a course, and you have to take advantage of the early "easy" holes. And really, everyone is talking about his big collapse on 18, but the man only hit 2 fairways all day. If he'd won, he'd be the luckiest SOB, ever.

OMG, you're not kidding about Mickelson. He's one of my favorite players, but it was like he'd forgotten everything he'd learned over the past couple of years that finally got him his Major wins.

I'm actually quite sad about Stricker's collapse - hometown favorite and all that - I would have loved to see him keep the lead and win it.
